Born in Yorkshire and brought up in Canada, Sue Denim now works from her studio on the Kent coast. In a recent interview she cited Thanet, the home of Lombard Street Gallery, as "inspirational". Sue's figurative work explores the "quiet moments in life" and captures the "tension within relationships and the unspoken word." Her unique, graphic and linear style has proved very popular and many of her works have been published as prints and in 2015, as greeting cards. Bold lines, deep colours and vivid patterns are also evident in her abstract paintings. Utilizing the elements of form, colour, line, texture, pattern and composition, these pictures reflect Sue's influences and life experience.
