Following extensive refurbishment the Dreamland Cinema building has been returned to its former glory, complete with neon signs and lighting and artist Andy Tuohy has been inspired to create this image to extend his Thanet series, first exhibited at the Lombard Street Gallery in Margate, Kent. The companion images include Lido, Cliftonville and the Broadstairs Lift.

Andy Tuohy creates retro inspired original artworks of architecture, landmarks, locations and objects. Andy trained as a graphic designer at Liverpool Polytechnic (now John Moores) and worked in publishing and advertising for many years before going it alone as an artist designer. His work often includes subjects as diverse as modernist architecture; coastal landmarks from beach huts to bus shelters; transport; landscapes and seascapes.
